Joy Baines

Visual Arts –  Textile Artist, Fashion and Painting

Joy Baines is a Staffordshire based artist, fine art painter and sculptor. She is a designer and maker at her company Artsfro, which sells original hand-crafted artworks, jewellery, clothing, handbags and collectables. Joy is passionate about life casting in bronze or clay and sculpting the human form as a way of communicating memories, personality and movement. 


 Joy is an experienced facilitator and the Head of Art at It’s What You Say (IWYS), a creative education provision based in Stoke-on-Trent.  IWYS aims to equip young people with the skills and mindset to thrive in an environment of respect and inclusion. They support diversity throughout their provision.


Aside from being on the road with her sister  Charmaine Baines (Link https://www.charmainebaines.com/about-live-90s-club-classics-soulful-singer-dj-live-band-and-duo-act/) or her daughter singer and MC Eva Lazarus  (Link https://www.evalazarus.com/) , Joy spends time creating, exhibiting and selling her art.
